    HI,
I am indian citizen(parent). I have got 10 years tourist visa.
I can have 6 months maximum stay in US.
At about 5 and half months, I wish to visit Canada for about 2 weeks i.e. before 6 months get's over. I would like to come back to USA for 5-6 months and then return to India. I will need to get the re-try stamp in USA when doing so.
I hope this will not be a problem. Has anyone's parents' done this? Could you please share your experiences/knowledge on how it's handled in USA, Canada. Thanks!

If you take a short trip (30 days or less) to Canada or Mexico, you may retain your I-94/I-94W, so when resume your visit to the United States you are readmitted for the balance of the time remaining on your I-94/I-94W.

So, they won't give you another 6 month stamp but let you enter on your existing I -94, since it will still be valid.
