Visitor visa query

Hi,

I am planning for my parents visit to US in month of July. So can We apply for tourist visa now. Duration I will specify 3 months, so If VO will grant visa for only 3 months can they come in July. How to check for this?

If they request a 3 month stay does not mean he will give them a 3 month visa. He will take into consideration their July visit and will give them a long term visa ( one year or more).

Anyway, visa validity is different from duration of stay, which is determined by the entry inspector.
