Birth Certificate of Sponsor

Hi,

I am calling my parents from India, i have my Birth Certificate from the Hospital and not from the Municipal authorities.

Hence wanted to know that will the Hospital Birth Certificate be valid ?

It will be fine if it shows your parents' names.

BC is not mandatory for a visitor visa. In high fraud countries like India, they want to make sure you are actually the child of the parents you are sponsoring; so they sometimes ask for such evidence like your bc showing your parents' names. If it is not available one can show a school leaving cert. showing your dad's name.
