  • Parents visa rejected due to missing I-134

My parents visit visa got rejected on Oct 4th, 2004. The documents that we sent them from our side were GC copies, passport copies, W-2/tax papers and also financial statements. We could not send them I-134 forms as both I and and my husband recently left our jobs as my husband is going back to full time school. I am searching for new jobs but do not have one right now.

The visa officer asked my parents if both me and my husband were not working and my parents replied yes, and he also asked for a sponsor letter. We thought my parents would apply as a self-sponsored visa with thier financial statements, property value, pension papers etc. But the visa officer did not look at any of those papers. What do you think we should do now? is there any other way of applying for a tourist visa to the US?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

You first get a job and then send I-134 to them.
