    re: change of appointment date

You can change the appt date on the ttsvisas website.

Instructions are clear that one need to inform about changes 24hrs in advance.

I would do it on a friday.

      Xoom75 ,

To whom we need to inform, if we change the appointment date.

Initially I got appointment for my wife on 21 Oct. Later again I got early appointment on 19th Oct. So now , I need to Inform any one about the change ?

Where is this mentioned ? Can u please provide the link.

        Here is the link.

        www.ttsvisas.com

Click on the "Modify/Cancel Appt" link

And you should be able to change your appt date. I dont think its necessary to inform any particular person. If you still have a doubt write a mail to the consulate regarding the changes.

Its clearly mentioned in the FAQs that if one needs to "Modiy/Cancel the appt" the link on the website can be used to do the same.

        Hope this helps

            tunedinindia,

The above was posted by Xoom. But I never find any thing about this on tts website. Instructions are there about how to change the appointment date. That's all. But that never mentioned to imform about changes in 24 hours. And Xoom also didn't replied clearly about that.

Xoom---Can you please cut and paste the information if you find any where regarding whether we need to inform or not.

Tunedinindia-- we can't book two appointments with one passport. When we try to book another slot with same passport, at the the end , you will get a message on screen saying that, ' you already have an appointment with that passport number. do u want to cancel that ? '

So first I booked appointment for Oct 21st. And from then, I am checking daily for early appointment. One day, I saw that there is a slot open on Oct19th. Immediately I changed my appointment from Oct 21 to Oct 19

              Re:change of appointment date

I apologise. I said 24hrs notification prior to appt if changes have to be made. I hope this makes everything clear.

On the appt receipt, check the 7th point. It says.....

-----If you are unable to keep your appointment, cancellation or modification must be done latest by 2:00 pm on the day prior to your appointment by using the "Modify/Cancel Appointment" link on the Home Page.----
