kannada translator

Hi,
My mom is going to chennai for the second time to get a visitor visa.
Her visa was rejected for the first time, on 214b basis. She was not able to understand the officers questions correctly

This time, i took an appointment with kannada language.
So, do they have a kannada translator. What is the process to
request for a kannada tranlator?
