since shes a widow i am crossing my fingers!!!!!I hope she gets the visa!!!!:x

|I my moms visa was rejected!!!He didnt even c the documents.and itseems he was not convinced that she will go back!!!!

I am really sorry to hear that. It is quite disappointing and frustrating.

Was the interview in Mumbai consulate? You might have seen my listings in the past. My mom is a widow too. She had an interview on 23rd August, just few days back at Mumbai consulate. The officer looked at the previous entry on his computer and did not ask her a single question. He said it was rejected before and so it is being rejected now. My mom asked him to see the documents. He didn't. He was rather rude to her.

Anyhow, good luck next time. I think I will try after a year or so.

it was in chennai.2 of my frds mothers who r widowed too got the visa.infact they dont have anything back in dia nor they have other kids!!!!they got visas!!!i wonder what do they look for!!! my mom travelled the whole night before the interview arrived chennai at 7 in the morn .it was very hard on her!!!not to mention the expenses!!!>:
