  • Form I-134 question

My parents had applied for a visitors visa in August 2003 and were given a 6 months visa that was valid till Feb 2004. However they did not travel to the US in that period since they decided against travelling in the winter. They will be applying again in May 2004 by the drop box since both are 60+.
    1) Is applying a second time a drawback especially within a couple of months of expiry of the old visa? Do they have to give a reason for not having used the earlier visa (like in a letter addressed to the consulate) ?
    2) On Form I-134 : Item #9 states : "Have you previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s). If none state 'None'."
DO I SAY 'None' OR DO I MENTION HERE THAT I HAD PREVIOUSLY FILLED AN AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT FOR MY PARENTS LAST AUGUST ALTHOUGH THEY DID NOT TRAVEL TO THE US ?
    Thanks

    1. No. That's OK.
    2. You have to say. You submitted affidavit. It does not matter whether they traveled or not.

      why i 134

      hi eli.
i am curious, if u are applyig thro dropbox why do u need 1-134, since dropbox service will not accept anything other than ds 156, photo and fees.
maybe u are getting ready for the interview if visa is denied thro dropbox?

            Re: i 134

Don't put I-134 along with the DS-156 in drop box.
