Urgent help on visitor visa

Dear All,
Last week I was admitted in hospital in ICU because I have ulcer in my stomach.It was little serious problem.
before two days I discharge from hospital. I took letter from doctor about my medical treatment.
Now,
I want to invite My father to visit me so do you think he will get visitor visa? I am on h1b and I have all necessary document from myside whatever mention on this website.

If consulate officer ask to my father what is purpose of his trip then what is correct answer?

Purpose of visitor visa should better be 'visitor' or 'tourism' than anything else. Mention that.
