Validity of 10 yr Visit Visa after expiry of Green Card

My mother got a 10 year visit visa and she came to the US in 2001. My sister who was a citizen applied and got her a green card. My mother stayed in the US for 3 years and went back to India in 2004. Now that she has lost her green card, can she visit the US with her previous visit visa. Or will she need to apply for a new visit visa?
