Appointment at Chennai Consulate

Hi..I am trying to take an appointment at chennai consulate for my mother- in-law for this month end or in the month of May. But i am not able to do so.

Is chennai consulate not accepting visa applications any more. I see all the dates till September '04 are not available for appointments. Can anybody let me know the status at chennai consulate. Have they stopped accepting applications. Or is there any other way that i can try for appointment.

If Chennai consulate is booked up, not much you can do.

Appointment at Chennai Consulate

I kept on trying (say 2-3 times a day) to look for the available dates and got one in the end of May for my mother for visitor's visa. So I think if you keep trying everyday, you might be able to get one if someone cancels or reschedules it.

Looks like June is opened up, My mom got an appt. on June 8th ini Chennai.
