Availing Drop Box facility

Hi,

I have a few questions on "Drop Box" facility for visitor's visa

1. My dad is 79 years old. My mom was born in 1945 (May), so she will be completing 59 years this May and entering 60. I am planning to invite them this summer. Can both of them avail the Drop Box facility?
2. I have GC and been living in this country since 7 years. My parents do not have any property or bank balance in their name to show. Would this be a problem? I do have other brothers and sisters living in India. My parents are very orthodox Hindus and don't really like to stay here longer. This will be their first visit.
3. Any suggestions to avoid any potential Visa issues?
