  • Visitor Visa

    Dear Sir/Madam:

A friend of mine, a US citizen is inviting me to a 10 day visit in The US. He is in Missouri, he wanted me to see and visit the St. Louis Arch mainly and the Forest Park. He has gotten me a round trip ticket already, on a ten day schedule.

What I want to ask is if I still need to go through the same thing, the long duration stay needs to undergo and we he need to comply the same requirements other sponsors does?

    Thank you very much.

This is in connection to my first inquiry, I have learned that applying for visa sponsored by a friend is most likely denied specially recently. What do I need to do to get a better percentage of being approved, in terms of money, I do not have much because I will be sponsored, as in all expense paid from fare to hotel accommodation, everything. All I have with me will be a 400 US dollars for pocket money and most of all I have 7 kids at home, one college grad, 4 in college students taking up nursing and 2 elementary.

All the rest of the papers are provided by my sponsors... what else do I need? I will appreciate it very much if you could give me more information. Thank you very much.

Visitors should show ties (both financial, property and familial) to the home country to increase the chance of being granted a visa. Every visitor should overcome the potential immigrant intent that one is looked at by the VOs by proving otherwise.

This is the key to success. Any documents that can prove that you will return back to the home country will help you get a visa.
