Can my cousin sponsor for my parents

Hi,

Can my first cousin who holds a green card & shares same last name as my maiden name sponsor visitor visa for my parents.

As I'm on H4 visa & my husband is having some complications with his H1 visa.

Are there any chances for them to get any query in the consulate because of this, though all their documents are proper???????

Yes, you can. Though it doesnt matter who sponsors, but the officer may dig into the reason. Why is a cousin brother calling your parents? What will you say for this? If the answer is to visit you, why not you/your husband are sponsoring??

Mind you, the rule is anyone can sponsor, but I am just telling you of a possibility.
