What doccument require for travel on visitor visa

I am wondering, what documents are needed to travel from India to USA on Visitor B2 visa?
Police clearance certificate and Income tax clearance certificate needed for 6 months travel to USA?

Police or tax certificates are NOT required.

For US entry ,
* you must have documents that prove your purpose of visit to US
* Your return ticket must show return dates matching your stay.

My Mother is coming to USA in March. Purpose of her visit is to meet her son and family member. Could you please guide me what document should she keep to prove her visit?

She can carry the invitation letter from the son that she used to get the visa. If she does not have that, son can send a fresh one on his letter head .

Usually they donot ask for any documents at entry but one must be ready with it, just in case they do. They will ask her the duration of stay; should say 3-4 months. She will get a stay of 6 months anyway.
