got 10 years in 2nd attempt

My parents got 10 year multiple entry visa in 2nd attempt from mumbai consulate on April 1st.
There visa was rejected in oct 2001. I am on H1b and green card is processing thru my husband's
employer. I sent all documents including my husband's document. Questions were asked as below.
1)what is your daughter do?
2)can you explain her visas, (h4, f1, h1b)
3)what do u do? (Since my mom is working as a teacher)
4)when are you planning to retired?
5)what is your annual salary?
6)TO my dad: when did you retire?
7)what was your salary?
8) what is your son in law do?

they didn't look at my husband's paper, but they were carefully looking at my papers.
Thank you immihelp. I sent all the papers mentioned in this web site. So ther is always hope for the people who is attending interview for 2nd time.

Did u send all the sponsor documents,including affidavit or used the same,that was previously sent?

I sent completely new set. As it has been one and half year from their first rejection

Hey,

Congrats on your parents visa. DO you think your salary made a difference to their acceptance ?
Also any special reason why you waited for a year and a half ?

my parents visa got rejected the first time and I am in the same situation. We plan to go back for the visa after 2 or 3 months or also maybe another year.lets see how it goes.but your situation gives me hope.

Congrats man. Can you tell me what additional documents you provided this time which worked? Did they look at those documents? What do you think was the reason for rejection last time, your best guess.
