Q: My application for visitors visa (B1/B2) was rejected twice in 2004 as I worked in an Arab country my passport was endorsed with workpermit stamps in arabic and also trasit stamps of international journeys. My old passport was expired in 2006 and I have got a new passport now and want to apply for visitors visa again to visit my children. I have not travelled since 2002 for 7 yrs and settled in India. I would like to know whether I have to carry my old passport at the time of interview or not. I am bit worried if I show it, it may create negative impression again regarding history of international journey. I am now 62 years old. Is it a must to carry old expired passport? Kindly advise.
