I am on L1 Visa can i get my parents on a visitor visa

HI Everyone,
I am presently on L1 visa in USA. I want to get my parents to visit USA once . Is it possible that i can sponsor them to come here or is there any othr process for the same

Yes, you can .

Firstly, You will have to send an invitation letter to your parents describing your job/visa status, salary and duration of their visit. Also , copy of your passport /visa and proof that they are your parents ( birth certificate). If bc is not available , other certificates like graduation showing your dad's name.

Secondly, you will have to determine if they can finance the trip (family income roughly 1 lac /month is safe for self financing). If they do not have that income , you should send an affidavit of support ( I-134) with bank statements, tax returns and salary slip.

thirdly, success of their appl. depends on their circumstances in India.
( ties like other children, property, job are favorable). Also, they should ask for a short stay in US on the application and in the interview ( 3 months).
Some people ask 6 months which is not advised.
