Dear All
I am trying to sponsor my Ma in Law for a visit this summer. I am on a AOS (EAD). My wife is also on EAD, and was employed till January 09. We both own a C corp, and she is the majority stakeholder, CEO/President in that Company. I do my consulting through that Company. Showing funds is not an issue. My wife is a beneficiary on my AOS petition - in other words, I am the one getting the GC and she will be the direct beneficiary. besides being the co-owner in the Corp, I am also employed in the company.
My question is, between both of us who should be sponsoring the visitor? If my wife sponsors her, she can show the funds which are in a Jt Account and she can show the proof of income from the Corp business account, however, will that be good enough?
What will be the best approach here given the situation?
