Could the applicant mention family ties on the applicants personal affidavit?
Does the applicant need to attach cover letter if she has declared her purpose of visit, duration of stay, property and its value, bank FD's, family ties, Pension amount in her personal affidavit?

What should go on the personal affidavit and what should go on the Cover letter?

Samples are there for all the letters you need. If it is not there, you don't need.
