Visitor Visa From India to U.S.

Does one need a sponsor letter when applying for a B-1 or B-2 tourist Visa to the U.S. from India? I could not clearly understand from your website, whether of not this was required.

If the person can prove that he himself has enough money to visit US on his own, he does not need sponsor.

Otherwise, he does.
