Hi,

My husband is a US Citizen and he is planning to send 134 to his mother for visitor visa.

Actually, on the other side, he already have submitted the I-130(Petition for Alien relative)for his parents..My question is that while the I-130 is in processing mode, can mother-in-law apply for visitor visa.Or that would create a problem when they(mother-in-law &father-in-law) will appear in embassy for the interview of Immigrant Visa.

Please advise ASAP..any help will be appreciated.

That could be problematic. They avoid giving visitor visa to people whose immigrant petition is pending as they have clearly shown the intent to immigrate.
