sponser for visitor's visa with EAD card ?

Hello,
I have two queries regarding the visitor's visa,
QUERY 1:
My husband is working and he has an EAD card..but his H1 expired 2 months back...Iam waiting for the renewal of my previous EAD Card which expired last year in november.Can my husband send the sponser papers to my parents for visitor's visa? Bcoz we don't have H1 ..and can't reapply as he has completed 6 yrs on H1.we would like to invite my parents in july 2004.Its very important.

QUERY 2:
My husband's brother in law(his own sister's husband) is a citizen here.If they send the sponser papers to my parents,is there any possibilty of getting visitor's visa for my parents.

Kindly answer my queries ,its really important for us to know how to go about it.

1. It's ok to sponsor while on EAD.
2. That should not be done. Your husband's brother-in-law has no direct interest in bringing your parents here.
