Parents got 10 yrs visa at the 3rd attempt in Chennai

My parents' visa application had been rejected twice (May '03 and July 03) in Chennai last year. First time, they applied together and second time only my mom applied. This time, I got a certified letter from a Chartered Accountant stating their financial ties in India. I asked them to take photographs of our family and relatives to show the social ties. The guy at the consulate asked a few questions like "How long are you planning to stay there? etc" and gave them the visa for 10 years on 4th March 2004. Hope this information is useful.
