Hi,
I had applied for I-539, Extension of stay, for my in-laws on Jan-2-2004. I got the recipt from INS California service centre saying that it will take 90-120 days to process this case.
They had I-94 valid till JAN-31-2004.
Now, my in-laws are going back, In lieu of this I had following questions?
1> Is it OK/FINE, to go back to India while they have CASE pending with INS? If so, will this be a problem for their future visits?
2> Apart from writing to INS Service centre, is there any other way to Inform about the Address change regarding this CASE.
3>Should I Inform the INS that they are going back to INDIA?
4> Any other things which needs to be done accordingly.
