Hello everybody,
I have recently joined here to seek some help in applying visitor's visa for my mother. My husband is on L1 and i am a dependant. We have decided to bring my mother to visit us here by June 1st week. I have 2 queries.
1.My mother is a central govt employee and due to some reasons her office staff is on strike for 1 n half yrs now. But unfortunately most of the staff members were been suspended(temporarily) and for that they filed a case in the court where the proceedings are still going on.
In this moment, we came to know that for 'Visitor's documents', she needs a No-Objection-Certificate(NOC) from her employer to grant her a certain period of leave(a leave letter). But worried how she would get it when she is also been suspended, though temporarily.
It would be great if anyone can throw some light here to help me..
2. We have just started filing up applications and want to make sure they all be done with in a week or so. So even if we start doing it now, would it be possible for her to have time to attend interview from Hyd's US consulate and possible to come here by June first week? Meaning wht is the approximate waiting time to get the visa appt date?
Help would be much appreciated.
