Please advise in this matter

I live in US and I am a GC Holder and married to a US Citizen.I am pregnant rightnow due in July, 2004 and i was thinking if my mother or mother-in-law could come here at the time of my delivery.But, when i checked this website, i got an idea that my mom or mom-in-law should not mention about Pregnancy.Please advise what way should i go, what should they say if Consular specifically ask that is your daughter/daughter-in-law pregnant.Is it better to sponser my mother through my husband or through myself.Would it make any difference if my husband applies for my mother.Can my mother and mother-in-law both appear in Embassy same day?Please advise this...Any help will be appreciated.

Toursist visa should be taken for tourism purposes. That is the best I can say.

They can appear on same day or different days. Does not matter.

It would be better if you sponsor your mother.

So, is it going to make a difference if my husband sponsors my mother.Also, lets say we don't mention that I am pregnant, reading from the experiences of people here in this forum, what about if they ask my mom or mon-in-law that is your daughter or daughter-in-law a pregnant.Should they answer no?...Thanks.

In general, you don't have to volunteer any information, but it's a bad idea to lie in response to a direct question. It will likely come back to haunt you.

When you say sponsor, I assume you mean filing a petition for your mother so that she can come to the US permanently. I'm not sure I see why it would make a difference whether you're pregnant or not? (If someone can enlighten me on that matter, I'd appreciate it )
Also, you mention not being sure who should sponsor your mother (assuming it's for filing the I-130). If you are a PR, you cannot sponsor your mother yet- you'll be able to once you become naturalized. Your husband can definitely sponsor his own mother.

I meant to say by Sponsor is by inviting my mother to US on visitor visa.I was thinking the same way you do before getting to this website, but now as i am reading lots of prespectives everyday, I have become double-minded.

The odds of getting a visitor's visa depends on what country a person is from, and on the individual judgement of the consular official interviewing them. It depends on what country a person is from because some countries have higher rates of people never returning from trips to the US on visitor's visas. People in those countries receive much closer scrutiny before they are granted a visitor's visa. What the consular official wants to see is lots of documentation showing that the person has such "close ties" to their home country that they are individually highly likely to return from the visit. It's not "racism", it's "what are the odds that a person won't stay illegally in the US?".
