Point of Entry Question after Visitor Visa granted

My uncle and his family got visitor visa. Uncle and Aunt got it for 10 years, and children got it for 5 years. My uncle and aunt entered US on visitor visa, and got L1A done successfully for 1 year. Kids haven't entered yet.

It has been more than 6 months since visitor visa was granted. Can kids enter US with visitor visa to visit their parents?

Looks like potential immigrants using the B2 route. They have to apply for L2 if they want to stay or show strong ties at POE in the absence of it, could be turned back at POE.

How can POE officer tell that they are potential immigration? Are their passports linked up to their parents? Kids are young and they won't be able to answer any questions at POE regarding thier parents anyway.

I am really interested in their progress to see if they can get greencard through L1A. Then I can apply as well.

POE officers are trained to determine that. The fact that parents are on L1 is clear indication. Looks like you are hell bent on immigrating to US in some fashion.

Good luck with the approach of you applying through Uncle's petition. That ain't gonna happen in this lifetime of yours.

can't I get honest response in this forum? Tell me what to tell POE officer so my uncle's kid can get entry to US. They just want to visit their parents for god sake.

So what if I want to come to US? I feel betrayed by my ex-"husband" cuz broke offf our paper marriage and didn't file any petition for me. He shattered my and my family's dream of going to US and settle there. It is every indian girl's dream. Now I want to apply myself and go to US. I know I will get greencard through L1A stuff or possibly new obama law.

Kids need to get L2, do not try to enter with B2. You need to get the right visa for your purpose, your uncle did a COS from B2 to L1A, it is a risk to assume kids will be able to do that successfully to L2 given todays scenario.

"It is every indian girl's dream." - Sooo not true May be in a particular state, you know which state I'm talking about Get a life, immigrating to US is not everything and not everyone's dream, do not dream up things and situation in US is not dreamy at all.

And your approach to immigrating to the US "That ain't gonna happen in this lifetime of yours." rightly said by txh1b. They are anyway cracking down on L visa abuse, so L2 application for kids will need heaps of documents to get approved.

You seem to know more about immigration law than any lawyer can know. Probably they are rewriting the INA series and 8 CFR to allow for your entry.

There is no provision for you to use their L1A to get GC.
