Scheduling an Interview

I went thru the steps in the ttvisa website to make an appointment for Chennai Consulate. The calendar is booked until April 26!!! Is there no walk-in option at all ?

Since this is the first time my sister will be applying for the visa, does she have to appear for the interview in person ?

If she is below 60, she has to schedule an interview.

There are no walk-in interviews.

If there are no appointments till some date, tough luck. Try checking periodically. Some times, some lots open up if some people cancel it.
