Visitor's Visa/Sponsoring

Hi

My husband is a post doctoral fellow here in USA. he is on H1 visa. and I am on H4. He is applying for visitor visa for my parents. According to your website, we should have $5000/person. We will be able to show that. Now, since I am wholly dependent on him, this amount is still good enough?

My cousin is a permanent residence of USA. If the above amount is not good enough to get visa for my parents, is it a good idea that my cousin can also sponsor them?

We just gave the ballpark figure. There is no rule for specific amount. You should have enough money to take care of their expenses.

If you can't show that, additional sponsors would be helpful.
