Does anyone have information on how early one should reach there if one has an appointment at 8.15 am? I heard there is a looooong queue outside the embassy. I remember I reached pretty early (5ish) when I went there 5 yrs back. Don't know how is the scenario now?

If your appointment is at 8:15 a.m, then you should be there by 7:45 or 8. The same slot is allotted to around 150-200 people, that's why the long queue.

Yes, same time slot is alloted to many people. It is better to go 15 minutes to half an hour earlier than appointment time.
