where to submit documents?

My parents w/sister are going for visa in first week of april. We were not very clear about the procedure at the consulate. where do you submit the supporting documents (I-134, affidavit of support, employment letter etc) ? do you just carry them with you and show them to the officer during interview or give them in the yellow envelope along with passport?

Also, they plan on taking the appointment in Pune in person (offline process). Do they need to take the supporting documents (like I-134 etc) with them or just the passport, visa application form and demand drafts?

1. If you are applying through drop box, put them along with application. Else carry them with you during interview.

2. No supporting documents needed while going to take appointment.
