Bringing parents/Bank balance for sponsoring

Hi,

I am planning to bring my parents to US this summer. I need clarification on the bank balance details. I came to US last year and my wife is here with me as my dependent. I have a bank balance $4500 in my account now and an average bank balance amount of $1200 for the past year. I transferred money to my account in my native India and maintained a minimum amount in my US bank account. Will this balance be sufficient for sponsorship, if I plan to sponsor my parents if they are here?

I think you need to show $5000 per person you are sponsoring.so if parents want to come here you need to show $10000 in your account

There is no such required amount, you can sponsor even with lesser than $5k.
