Hi,
My father in law wanted to come for my convocation ceremony and hence applied for a Visit Visa. As he is staying as a dependent of his daughter in a foreign country, the consulate that he went for the stamping was outside India.
He was rejected the visa on the grounds that he could not show sufficient economic and social ties with country where he applied from.
My questions are:
1. How soon can he reapply?
2. Would you suggest him going back and applying from a consulate in India(Chennai for us)?
3. How can he show sufficient social and economic ties?
His travel is self sponsored and that was not an issue.
Looking forward for the suggestions.
