sponsor's status...does it make a difference?

Immihelp.......great site it is. I wish I had seen it before I appeared for my first interview at Mumbai consulate. I came to know about this site, only after the denial of my visa.
Anyways, please clarify my following point.


I have both my children in US....one a GC holder and the other one on H1B. When I applied for a visitor visa, with my son as the sponsor, I was refused visa on the grounds that both my children are in the US. When I reapply, if I show my other child [GC holder] as the sponsor, will it help?

Whether it will help or not is quite subjective and it depeneds upon the consulate oficer.

Whether your H1 son or GC son sponsors you, the fact remains same that you have both your sons in US.
