Hello there,
I have scheduled an appointment for my parents to attend visitor’s visa in 3 weeks. After I confirmed the appointment I have realized that my father’s first name was mis-spelled in DS-156 form. It doesn’t reflect the same as in passport. I know we can modify the saved application and also ‘name’ fields will be locked. Even I know that we can cancel the appointment and re-type the application and take a new appointment. But in my case I already cancelled it once and if I do it again, my visa receipt number will be blocked thereafter. Will it be O.k. for my parents to attend the interview? without the name change in application.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
