Invitation letter to the parents

Greetings!!

We are planning to sponsor the trip to my parents to US. I am on L2 visa i.e dependant visa and my husband will be the sponsor. So just wanted to check, in this case do I need to write the invitation to my parents or my husband has to write. Also the letter to the consulate...Please help..
