Name mismatch with the my passport and my father passport

I am on H1 and staying from last 3 years here. I want to sponsor visitor visa to my parents. But, name in my father passport slightly mismatches with the name in my passport. Does this make their visitor visa rejected at the consulate? Or do I need to provide any extra documentation to support getting visitor visa.

Name in my father passport: VENKATESHVARLU (Given name)
Name in my passport: VENKAIAH (Given name)
