  • Questions on B2 visa

P.S - I have read the FAQ but couldn't get an answer to my questions. Thats why I am opening a thread with my questions. I'd appreciate if you can provide your answers/suggestions.

I am currently on L1 visa and my company pays a part of my salary in US (about 40K US dollars) and then my full indian salary (which is approx 25 to 30K when converted to US dollars).
1)In the affidavit of support I-134 form how much should I write as the annual income. can I write the total US and indian salary?

2)For the deposit in savings bank in United states column, can I include the savings amount in India also?

3)For the personal property value column can I include the value of personal property in India also.

4)For the real estate column I dont own any real estate in US but I have some property in India. Can I include that?

5)I am applying a B2 visa for my inlaws and they do not know english. So how can they write a cover letter in english to the consulate general? Can they write in their native language?

6)I have been in the US only since one year. So I have only one W2 and IT return in US. Can i use my IT returns in india as a supplementary documentation since I am also receiving part of my salary in India?

7)is marriage certificate of inlaws and their marriage photos required?

8)my wife doesn't have birth certificate. but her passport has the names of her parents. so can photocopy of passport or original passport be used instead of the birth certificate.

    1 through 4.
The purpose of showing all those amounts and proofs is to figure out whether you can really take care of their expenses in USA.

If you have some asset outside USA that can be used for the expenses for their trip, include that. Otherwise, don't.

    5. In whatever language they know.

    6. Yes
