Girlfriends Visa To America Denied. Because I'm American! Appeal Process Help.

My girlfriend is from Taiwan. She applied for a visitors visa to America and it was denied. She stated on her form that she would be traveling with me. I am American. They told her they didn't think she would come back.

She travels all over the world for her job. Would her company be able to help her secure a Visitors Visa to America? How does the appeal process work? What documents can she present to help her case?

There is no appeal, she just has to try again, and show more evidence of her ties to her home country... which may be difficult since she "travels all over the world".

The reason she was denied was probably the assumption that she will immigrate to the USA, by having an US Citizen boyfriend who could petition for her Green Card as soon as she lands in the USA.

If you love your g/f and you think you will marry her.you can petition her as your fiancee.during interview in to the American embassy she must show your pictures together emails,phone calls and I can sure you no more denied.but of course you must show your financial support to the NCIS.longest processing is 6 months.when she arrive here in US she only get 3 months visa.so you have to decide if you want to marry other wise she has to go back home before 3 months period expired.my husband is an American and he petitioned me as fiancee.I am now American citizen.just to share with you my experienced.
