Interview/Changing Language

Visa interview is fixed on 12/05/2009. As I was under the impression that my mother who is a 88 year old lady will not have to go personally for interview, I chose the English as Interview Language.

On submitting the papers at VFS they say I cannot accompany her and she will have to gave the interview personally. She don't know English but know only Hindi.

Now can I change the Interview Language or can it be change on the day of Interview?

You will have to take another appointment if the consulate is unable to
provide the interpreter on the day of the interview.
