I just wanted to thank this forum for providing the valid informaiton about Visitor Visa. Also wanted to post the experience so that others can benefit.
The visitor visa is for my parents who are first time visiting USA. The visa process is very smooth and Visa Officer and other staff are very respectful and treated well.
The whole process completed in less than 45 minutes and it is amazing compared to my past experience.
Interview lasted not more than 5 minutes where they asked about my DADs background? Family history - Ties back home, Why you want to go?
My Dad is still working and my sister and brother lives in India. So that might have convinced that they will come back.
Also key take away point is you need to be genuine and you will get it.
