Hi
My mothers visa was rejected recently in chennai consulate under Sec 214(b). She is a retired person and is economically independent with her own house and personal savings etc. The basis of rejection seems to be that she is a single parent and i am her only daughter. The officer did not look into any other documents and asked only about my father who had passed away more than 30 years ago.
I have some questions before we reapply for her visa
1. what would be the best answer to convince the officer that she will return to India
2. We have also applied for my in-laws visa who are to appear for their interview in the next week...so do i need to mention their application in my moms I 134 (i.e do we have to send her a new one?)
Please give me a reply as soon as possible.
thanks
