H4 expired, Tourist visa still valid?

Hello,

My mom first came to US on tourist visa in 2004. This tourist visa was valid for 10 years - Multiple entry. Later my father started working in US and she got an H4 visa. They went back to india in 2008 and her H4 visa will expire in July 2009. My question is, will she be able to travel on tourist visa that was issued before the H4 if she visits US in August 2009? Is that visa still valid or is cancelled because H4 took over it? Please help.

can she use it even if her h4 has been stamped? I read last night that if H4 is stamped then the previous visas become invalid. Is that true? if the stamped h4 expires will she need to re-apply tourist in that case?

Both visas remain valid and she can use B2 to visit.
