how to stay beyond 6 months

Hi,

My father passed away in India last month.I work in the US.My mom has her whole family in the US.She is now with me on visit visa but then she can stay just for 6 months and then will have to go back.

Is there any way that I can stop her.We have no one in India and she will be all alone.Does any one know any immigration attorney who can help?
Can I make her join some course so that she gets a student visa.Can she get an H4?I am thinking of all the ways possible so that she can stay with me here.Please someone suggest something

She can't get H4. She can't stay here forever on visitors visa. There is nothing you can do about it.

If you are US citizen, you can file her greencard. But until then, you are out of luck.
