Yesterday my mom had been to mumbai consulate for visa interview and the consulate officer just asked for 4 questions:
1. Who lives in US
2. Where do that person work
3. Where do you work
4. How long do you want to stay?
Case: applicant is a divorcee whose only child is working in US. Applicant is working in a small private firm with about 60K RS annual income.Applicant did take all the employment related documents and the property documents along with her. She also took her old mothers medical documents with whom she is staying.Applicant did have all sponsor's documents as well. Applicant answered all the questions accordingly in short, she also said she wants to go for about 6 months. But the officer didnot even see any of those and just rejected on 214(b) section. Can anyone please put some light what can be done. I am really disappointed by the whole episode. Need Help!!
