Calling parents but name different in my passport

Hi Freinds,

I'm living in US and want to call my mother and father here.My mom's passport got expired and she want to apply for new one.

She is retired government professional and the name on documents she have in India doesn't match with the name in My passport.(spelling mistake).

She is going for applying new passoprt very soon but the problem/question is whether she go for new passport as with the name printed in my passport or she correct/change her name in new passport.

Now is she goes and change her name and made it correct will it aorse any issue while applying visa because name diffres in my passport and in her passport?

Now what is the best possible solution to this problem.Because I heard that attorney will see the documnets of my mother as well if yes, will attorney see only her passport or what other documnets they require for my mom.

The otherway around is I'll change name on my passport here is US(Is it possible?) and then ask her to make new passport with correct name.

Freinds pls advice as I'm currently in deliman.I need to sort this problem ASAP.

The best thing is for her to have the passport in her whatever the correct name is. And everything should be according to that.

A typo regarding her name in your passport does not matter.
