I m 19 yr old only child of parents, studing in U A E ....wanted to go to US on university search with my parents.They got 10 yrs multiple entry visa from Oman wher they stay at present, now i want to apply from Mumbai. What documet i need to carry? My fater will b taking care of all the expense of trip, what r the chances of getting Visa?i hv no intention of staying ther for good just a 15 days trip. Can anybody evaluate my case?plz help.

Frankly, all the information you need about any US university is available online these days. And Indian students usually go to the US without having actually visited the university that they have been admitted to.

So I don't believe that your stated purpose of the visit is going to be accepted.

You can of course take a chance but do keep in mind that a rejection is not going to help you when you reapply for a student visa in a year's time.
