VFS website - What is wrong ?

I am not sure what happened with VFS website. I am not able to retreive the application even on same day now. Why they have retreive application link if it is not suppose to work ????? Someone please help. Please tell me if there is any change in their policy. What has changed ? Is anyone able to retreive application? I created one just few minutes back. When I clicked on confirming for booking appointment it gave me error "session expired" and now when I am trying to retreive it just says application does not exist. Their message still says " it has been more than 7 days.... " but it has not even been 7 mins.

This whole VFS system and the way the US embassy and VFS are conducting business is a JOKE. I think the system no longer allows you to save the application online for 7 days lke it used to earlier.
This whole process starting from going to HDFC makes is pathetic. I recall in my case even the HDFC receipt got activated the 5th business day, at every step I realized the system doesn't work the way it should be. Maybe all this is intentional and to demotivate people so folks don't even want to apply knowng the hardships they would have to endure just to get a visa to visit the USA.

I recently got a HDFC receipt and an appointment done and everything was smooth for me. Even save application worked well for me. Not sure why you guys are facing so many problems.

Did you apply for hindi appointment or English ? Issue is there for appointment in Hindi or Panjabi. At what time did you try for appoitment if it was in Hindi
