Visa status changed, is that a problem for parent's visitor visa.

I entered US with L1 visa. I changed my status here to H1B. Now I want to sponsor my parents for their tourist visa. Can changing my visa status be an issue during their interview?
If yes, please let me know how can that be justified. Do they consider any personal reason?
